Air Quality Assessment

Rest easy knowing that you and family are protected. We will screen your home
for conditions and constituents that may be affecting your in-home air quality.

Your home is a haven for you and your family that can fall susceptible to many different types of pollutants. Over the years, homes have been constructed using many different designs, products and modifications in an effort to conserve energy and to restrict air from escaping.

Installing storm windows, insulation, applying caulk, weather stripping, and heating our homes with kerosene, wood, coal, and natural gas are all methods that have been utilized to control indoor temperatures and air control. Unfortunately, when we trap air in, we also trap the pollutants and particulates that are being generated by indoor resources.

A Vortex Air Quality Assessment allows you to rest easy knowing that you and family are protected.  We will screen your home for conditions and constituents that may be impacting the indoor environment. There are a number of factors working together that make a space livable and safe. These  include indoor and outdoor air quality, thermal comfort, lighting, sound, and odor. Our assessment addresses all of these factors.

We gather data through visual inspection while using on-site instrumentation that measure indoor air pollutants. Specific contaminants and indoor air quality components that are examined may include carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, total and respirable dust, fiberglass, formaldehyde, volatile organic compounds, bacterial endotoxins, tobacco smoke, temperature and relative humidity.

After our collecting data and making an assessment of the current conditions, a report is provided that details the investigation’s findings.  Making sure you have all the information before you make such a significant decision simply makes sense. You can count on Vortex Inspection Group to give you the unbiased, professional opinion you need, when you need it.

If needed Vortex Inspection Group can develop and implement a customized indoor air quality management plan and conduct follow-up investigations and periodic inspections.
